JOB OPENING - SOD DELIVERY TRUCK DRIVER
DeBuck's Sod Farm of NY, based in Pine Island, NY, is looking to hire a qualified person able to drive our tractor trailer for sod delivereis in the NY, NJ metro area. DeBuck's Sod is know for delivering premium quality sod with great customer service. We are seeking an employee to join our team that is reliable and works in a safe and professional manner. We plan to interview and hire before our Spring season begins in early April.
Requirements:
1. Class A CDL License and clean driving record
2. Physical ability to tarp and strap loads
3. Able to navigate metro area highways and local roads
4. Positive attitude and good judgement on jobsites to provide good customer service.
5. Operation of forklifts to load and unload pallets
6. Knowledge of how to maintain and service truck, trailer and forklift
Details and Comensation:
Full-time Job, Monday through Saturday Morning Loads.
Local Deliveries within 100 mile radius and retun home each day
Hourly pay plus Overtime (1.5X) - wages will be based on experience level
Paid Hilidays and Paid Personal Time (PTO)
